I hope that you are each staying safe and warm in this weather. We have missed several school days unexpectedly. We are still going to continue working on Fractions in math, and we will test on Tuesday, March 10th. We will begin our unit on patterns in math after finishing fractions. Midterms were moved from March 2nd to March 9th. Also, as a reminder please choose a conference time and date to discuss progress. Remember you can work on IXL and Reflex Math from home Thank you for all that you do to help your child be successful!
Happy Valentine's Day Weekend. We are halfway through our fraction math unit. We worked on lining up fractions in correct order this week, including mixed numbers. See the picture below where we made a huge fraction class number line. Please be sure to help your child with homework and ask why they are doing what they are doing. This helps them understand and explain what they know about fractions. ALSO, we are getting closer to our Donor's Choose Reading Project (link at the bottom). Please consider donating to our classroom. We are using the games requested in small group reading. THANK YOU!
